Advanced Womans Health Check Scan

All women can benefit from the Women’s Health Check Scan. This quick and easy test is more advanced and more specific than any other women’s health thermography screening.

This is an opportunity to detect changes earlier than possible through self-examination, doctor examination and diagnostic testing and is more comprehensive than breast screening alone.

Weighted for analysis and specific to female symptoms that may relate to thyroid dysfunction, genito-urinary dysfunction or oestrogen dominance. The programme has been designed with a special grading system attached to the scan to assess oestrogen dominance. The images are part of a graded analysis including breast, female reproductive organs, thyroid, endocrine, visceral and autonomic status to provide a holistic view of overall health and future risk levels, which can be used as part of a preventative health programme.

Long term exposure to Oestrogen in the environment has been identified as a significant risk factor for the development of cancer. This oestrogenic activity can be associated with breast pain, lumps and/or increased risk in cancer. This health check addresses all age-related challenges as well as evaluation and special grading system of the head/neck, breast/chest and abdomen. It looks for findings that may indicated vascular, lymphatic and breast health dysfunction, autonomic/autoimmune dysfunction and endocrine/adrenal system dysfunction.

COULD I BE OESTROGEN DOMINANT?

This is what Body Scanning’s new Women’s Health Scan will find out for you.

The areas covered  are from the head to the pelvic region and includes thermographic imaging of the head, neck (including carotid arteries and thyroid), breast,  abdomen, cervical spine, upper (thoracic) back, lower back (lumbar-sacral areas); no arms or hands included in this scan.

Elevated levels of oestrogen are a risk factor for breast disease and studies have shown this.

Hormone levels can be measured by laboratory tests and give very valuable information.

This is done by blood, urine or saliva tests and the hormonal balance of the whole body is looked at.

However, these tests are not accurate due to the fact that breasts produce oestrogen locally, whereas saliva doesn’t and blood tests will miss normally fatty tissue in the breast.

Thermography can see the level of oestrogen in your breasts; it is helpful as both a detection and monitoring tool. So, if a woman is found to have a higher than usual oestrogen hormone level, then she can work with a Health Professional to reduce the oestrogen dominance. This can be monitored by a further thermogram to see if the oestrogen reduction has worked.

This scan does not look at organs in great detail. If you have a particular concern, please choose an upper body or full body scan.
